As of September 2007, a second-year Senior at Eastern Washington University (to be hopefully done by Christmas 2007) Graduated as of mid-December 2007, majoring in Computer Information Services, a faintly lesser version of their Computer Science Bachelors of Science. This degree focuses less on the hard math and redirects more attention to some probability and statistics, economics (Micro and Macro) and Financial/Managerial accounting (which was a real bore…it amazes me that people can get to Managerial [the second quarter] without figuring out Debit/Credit…oh well).
I’m hoping to get employment as a Systems/Network Administrator, or as internal tech support for (hopefully) technology companies such as Google and Microsoft. If I get one of those positions at another larger firm outside the technology industry, however, I’m sure I’d be fairly happy, given a good wage and living area.
